in the Processing of ANUBA DOOR HINGES
In the production of wooden doors, it may be essential to process them by fitting them with anuba-type hinges (common in some parts of the world, such as Italy, where both the knob and anuba systems are adopted).
For this purpose, Futura Woodmac offers two models of CNC milling machines, also with a hinge boring function: TEKNO X2 (for joinery and woodworking industries) and TEKNO BASIC (recommended for joinery workshops).
The anuba unit of the TEKNO X2 machine (with 7 working axes, 6 of which are controlled by brushless motors) performs several machining operations depending on the type of anuba hinge for doors: boring and screwing (for single anuba) or boring only (in the case of double anuba).
A PLC system (with 2 dedicated controlled axes) automatically manages the position of the hardware, the number of bores and the orientation of the anuba hinge (male or female), with a clear optimisation of machining times in the boring and screwing of anuba hinges.
In the TEKNO BASIC machine (with 3/5 working axes, all controlled by brushless motors), the function of anuba boring machine, in addition to that of CNC milling machine, is optional.
In fact, the machine can be configured in 3 different modes: complete unit (milling and hinge boring unit), milling unit only, hinge boring unit only.
In the two hinge boring machines (both of which have been completely updated by the in-house technical department, both mechanically and electronically), although they have the same functions and technological innovations, the main difference lies in the number of sides on which machining can be carried out with a single positioning: two-sided in the TEKNO X2, single-sided in the TEKNO BASIC.
