Futura Woodmac supports “Progetti del Cuore”

For a company, being part of a territory is also sharing the responsibility of ensuring its growth, not only economically but also socially and, above all, inclusively, by supporting the activities of those who every day have to challenge their limits and fight against prejudices.
With this principle in mind, the company Metalstar 2000 and its in-house division Futura Woodmac, together with a pool of equally supportive local businesses, chose to support the initiative promoted in the Rimini area by ‘Progetti del Cuore’ (“projects of the heart” in English, a benefit company whose aim is to provide services for the weaker segments of the population throughout Italy, for the good of the community), together with the social cooperatives New Horizon and ObService (active in the province of Rimini).

Specifically, the supporting companies, including Metalstar 2000, financed the purchase of a new Fiat Ducato, which was handed over to the two social cooperatives on 9 March 2023 in a public ceremony.
The vehicle will allow them to transport (home, work or places of care) people in conditions of physical or mental disability and fragility, who are otherwise not independent, engaged in various activities and work placement workshops within the entire province of Rimini (from the coastal municipalities to those of Valmarecchia and Valconca) with at least 50 weekly journeys, providing essential support also to their families.

As the numerous testimonials (in the world of entertainment and sport) in support of this project launched on a national and local scale indicate, ‘alone we can do little, but together we can do a lot’.
For the company Metalstar 2000 (from founder Oto Cusano to his children Federico and Giada, all partners in the company) to accept this invitation is also to recognise the responsibility of its role, towards the territory and even more so towards its community, with a great sense of gratitude towards anyone (Progetti del Cuore, New Horizon, ObService, the other companies involved in support) who takes the side of the weakest and most disadvantaged to ensure their equal rights and real inclusion in society.
